Rhinestones and good times, slow hands and love in all the wrong places - you'll know the party has arrived and it's time to two step when Convoy hits the stage. From classic country and honky tonk favorites, through the wild and wooley outlaw country of the 70s and into the Bakersfield sound of the 80s, Convoy brings the goods! With a list of artists to draw from Convoy brings high energy renditions of Jerry Reed, Buck Owens, Johnny Cash, Johnny Lee, Conway Twitty, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings Dwight Yoakham, Dave Dudley, Flying Burrito Brothers, and more. When things are ready to fly even higher, they are more than comfortable with ZZ Top, 38 Special, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Lynryd Skynryd, The Allman Brothers and all the southern rock you can imagin. The band takes requests too - branching out to classic rock of the 70s by Foghat, Bad Company, The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton and many more. When you're ready to go East Bound and Down, and you're Looking For Love, Convoy will help you get your Beer Drinkers and Hell Raisers jumping so you can keep Rockin' Into the Night!

Convoy is pleased to welcome and announce Eric “Frizzy” Caldwell has joined the band on bass, replacing Rich De Santis who is moving on to other projects and leaving Convoy.
Frizzy Caldwell is a top tier bass player and brings a new energy and enthusiasm to the band. His prior work includes touring as David Allen Coe's bassist, as well as other numerous country and rock acts throughout the southeast. Convoy is reaching new levels of musical inspiration and we all enjoy the new direction and style Frizzy brings to the group. “Frizzy brings a solid bass to the band that really makes the music pop,” says guitarist Matt Chenoweth. “There’s a great vibe in the rehearsal room, and the band has never sounded tighter. Everything feels right about this, and we are definitely taking this to the next level.” says Chris Howard - lead vocalist for Convoy.
Convoy is busy booking spring, summer, fall and winter dates and looks forward to a very busy gig schedule with the addition of Frizzy Caldwell.
